Welcome to Fourth Grade

Fourth grade provides rigorous and engaging experiences for all students. We work together to provide the best education for our students. One central component of a great school system is a clear set of expectations. The Iowa Core represents our academic standards. Literacy and math are key areas of focus in fourth grade. We know that they are vital to student learning. Fourth grade students get to enjoy a field trip to Fontana Park. This field trip supports state science standards and it is a great opportunity for our students to engage in hands on learning. In addition, to strengthen our ties with the community, all fourth grade classrooms take turns visiting local care centers.
