Independence FFA Holds Back To School Barbecue
Independence, IA- On Tuesday, August 30th the Independence FFA Chapter held their annual back-to-school barbecue. The back-to-school barbecue is held to introduce prospective members to the Independence FFA program, and for current members to get reacquainted. Pulled-pork sandwiches were served along with chips, fruit, beans, and cookies. The 2016-17 FFA officer team assisted with the event and presentation. This event also helped members, and their families get to know the new Ag Instructor, and FFA Advisor Michael Haden. The chapter is looking forward to a great year!
