Mustangs Introduce Mr. Ales
October 4, 2016 (Independence, IA) – The Independence Community School District (ICSD) is happy to introduce Isaac Ales as the newest Health Education/Physical Education teacher. Ales will be teaching 8th grade health, high school health and wellness 1 & 2 and 7th and 8th grade physical education classes.

Isaac Ales
Isaac is a 2011 graduate from Muscatine High School, in Muscatine, Iowa. While in high school, Isaac was involved in football, track and field and the Muscatine FFA Chapter. After graduating, Isaac went on to the University of Northern Iowa. He graduated in 2016 and received his bachelor’s degree in Physical Education with a minor in Health Education and Coaching.
Ales is excited about his first year of teaching and states, “I want to be able to help my students adopt and maintain health enhancing behaviors. I want my students to be able to comfortably perform life skills that they can use later in their life.”
When he’s not in the gym or the classroom, Isaac can be found spending time with his family, coaching, hunting, fishing or attending UNI football games.
